MMA Class

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, allowing the use of techniques from other combat sports and martial arts. Competitions range from Amateur to Professional. Where in Amateur protective equipment such as head guards and shin guards may be used.The higher the ranking of the fight the less protective equipment is used however there are still rules that protect the fighter.

Jiu-Jitsu Class

Jiu-Jitsu is a traditional Japanese unarmed combat and physical training discipline. It is know as the gentle art; where flexibility and techniques are mastered in order to manipulate the enemy`s strength and energy and use it against him with out opposing it. Jiu-Jitsu mostly consists of locks,throws, self defence and groundwork techniques.

Training sessions include:

  • Technique drills - The technique is shown to the students and practiced on a non resistant partner repetitively.

  • Positioning drills - A set of hold down techniques is thought and practiced over and over again.


  • Full Sparring - The student is than given time to try the techniques by trying to conclude a submission on his partner using a legal technique. 

Takedowns and Groundwork Class

In MMA grappling and groundwork techniques are fundamental. Many of the techniques learnt during Jiu-Jitsu are used. Since a GI is not used in MMA competitions Jiu-jitsu techniques where amended to fit a sport that does not incorporate a GI.Still the same fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu are applied and training partners are treated with same respect as when training with a GI. 

MMA Standing Class

We teach standing Kickboxing for MMA. Such as footwork and combinations that work in the cage or in a ring.

Intensive Physical Training Class

Our way of building stamina,agility and strength. We do high intensity circuit training that focuses on all body parts.We focus on core and muscular strength.Our circuits very from a lesson to an other making such that we hit all muscle areas.

One of our most used means of training is rope climbing.Ropes are an excellent tool for fitness as well as physical strength. Circuit training by means of ropes and rope climbing provide killer workouts that make all the core muscles of the body work hard.This type of work out can not be undertaken by anything else besides ropes.
